Selection to their first senior CDIO Nations Cup Team

“I am so excited to say that I have been selected to complete in my first senior CDIO Nations Cup Team with Princess in Denmark at the end of may.”

Today was a dream come true the trot up passed and I recieved my senior team red GB pocket Badge. I could not have wanted to recieve it with any other horse than my homebred beautiful girl Princess

“Great lesson with Nicky Barrett today with Princess working on her suppleness and the working in which is key to her test and some Brilliant tips for movements in the test. Princess was such a good girl and she is feeling great.”
Nicky is so clear in her training and really makes you understand everything that’s going on underneath you and focus’s on me becoming a more intelligent rider.
I have got my homework to work on before we leave for the British nations cup team in Denmark. Stephen Kleiser owner one of the young horses I ride came along to watch he is also supporting me and Princess with my build up to Denmark with his Unique Life Design work.

“Wow what a week ?
We arrived back from CDIO Uggerhalne yesterday morning at 5am after two long overnight drives, yep totally exhausted but so worth it.”
Princess was fit, happy and like nothing had even happened, what a brilliant girl she is ?
What a fabulous opportunity I was given to ride on the team and receive my senior badge thank you to British Dressage and the selectors it was truly brilliant.
It was really unfortunate Princess took a disliking to the flappy black strap but that’s horses and I just had to get on with it but she was over it for the Kur and she did good. There is still more to come from her and my focus now is to try and get her to that next level I am sure is there, well I know it is I have had it at home !?
I want to say well done to my other team mates we had fun and a lovley bunch of ladies Georgia Stokes, Sara Gallop & Louise Bell to share the experience with and thank you to our chef d’equipe Caroline Griffith who was brilliant with her support and help.
A big thank you to everybody who has helped back home I am truly grateful to you James Purchase, George Pippen Herridge, Charlie Parfitt and Ruth Mullender without your support i wouldn’t be able to live my dream ??
Stuart Lark and Dad William Diegutis have been amazing helping organise, pack and drive I can’t thank you enough either.
What can I say I achieved a Dream this last week and it’s just made me hungry for more a sport I adore and a more dreams I want to achieve ??
